The acquisition will enhance Focus Group’s market presence and service offerings, solidifying its position as a comprehensive provider of innovative solutions in the telecoms, IT, connectivity and mobile sectors.
Katy Simmonds, COO at Pinnacle, said: “We are excited to join forces with Focus Group and leverage their extensive resources, strengthened product portfolio and industry experience. We remain dedicated to providing unparalleled value to our customers and as part of Focus Group, we will be in a position to continually innovate and deliver best-in-class solutions to meet their evolving needs.”
The transaction was led by Paul Billingham and supported by Luke Ettenfield-Nann and Ryan Batchelor.
Alex Matthewson, founder of Pinnacle, commented: “When I decided to sell my business, a friend recommend Knight as a good company to carry out the search for a buyer. They stood out from the other companies I looked at and charged a very fair fee structure.
Paul Billingham, Director at Knight Corporate Finance, added: “It was great to find a deal that suited Alex and has allowed him to step back from the business, but will also allow the team remaining with Pinnacle to benefit from being part of the Focus Group.
“We have seen renewed momentum on deals since New Year and look forward to further announcements in due course.”
Knight CF was founded by Adam Zoldan and Paul Billingham in December 2008 with the specific aim of advising businesses and entrepreneurs in the technology and telecoms sector. During this time, it has completed 190 transactions from its offices in London and Warrington.
