Knight CF has advised on the sale of Cavendish Communications Group to Babble, an acquirer with whom we regularly work.

Cavendish, based in Newhaven, East Sussex, will enable Babble to expand its southern footprint by providing more strategic locations in the South of England, while growing the company’s comms pillar.

Founded in 1990, Cavendish has become established as an independent supplier of business solutions specialising in telecommunications and IT.

The company provides a complete range of technology services to business of all sizes across the UK including phone systems, contact centres, IT support with Microsoft 365 and Teams, broadband & advanced connectivity, mobiles, structured cabling, interactive touchscreens, business WiFi and CCTV.

With help from this latest acquisition, Babble has become the UK’s most acquisitive technology company – and at Knight, we are proud to have contributed to that status!

Babble has demonstrated the ability to rapidly scale its UK operations while maintaining a local presence and a high level of personal service.

Matt Parker, Babble’s CEO, said: “Cavendish has a strong track record of providing its customers with an exceptional level of service. Where we will add value is by bringing even more innovation and variety with the technology we can offer.

“We are delighted to welcome more great talent into Babble and together we can evolve the technology estates of our new customers to enable them to grow faster and more securely.”
